Book Description
This book serves as a practical companion to the author's work on the principles of issuing fatwas, offering contemporary examples of fatwas and legal research. It is designed to train students in the correct methodology for writing fatwas and conducting legal studies.
The book is divided into sections on acts of worship, women and family issues, financial transactions, lawful and unlawful matters, and miscellaneous topics. It begins with an introduction on the principles of ease in fatwa issuance, expanding on the foundation laid in Al-Mu'tamad fi Usul al-Fatwa to cover all necessary aspects for a mufti.
The selected examples are detailed, supported by evidence, and aimed at clarifying ambiguous issues by referring them to established principles. They connect specific cases to general principles, harmonising foundational and subsidiary issues, combining research and verification, free from bias and blind imitation, and providing comprehensive explanations.
This book is an essential resource for students of fatwa, guiding them in the application of theoretical principles to practical situations.
