About the author
Syed Sulaiman Nadwi was an eminent Indian historian, biographer, littérateur and scholar of Islam.
He graduated from Nadwatal Ulama in 1906, and in 1908 he was appointed instructor in Modern Arabic and Theology. Amongst his many important publications, was the completion and editing of his teacher's (Shibli Noumani) unfinished work Sirat-un-Nabi after the latter's death in 1914.
